ABOUT
HISTORY
THE YOU IN ME, INC. was founded by brother and sister team, Linden
Keiffer and Veronica Keiffer Neal. The organization’s first
major endeavor was The You In Me College Campus Tour, visiting such
influential campuses as Cal Berkeley, San Jose State and Evergreen
Valley College. The tour explored issues of diversity using eclectic
atmospheres of art, music, and dance. Due to the success of this
program TYIM expanded their audience to include the corporate world,
profit and nonprofit companies, K-12 schools, and community centers
seeking to broaden their diversity awareness and develop cross-cultural
relations. This innovative program also offered an opportunity for
the community to experience the power and beauty of art in their
own backyards without the cost and travel of visiting a gallery.
GOALS
THE YOU IN ME, INC. focuses primarily on the goals of diversity
education and all that it entails, including race, culture, ethnicity,
alternative lifestyles, and the wide ranges of issues, pros and
cons. And to utilize and develop the arts and the communicative
abilities it instills, to increase dialogue, value and retention
of the subject matter. Moreover, TYIM strives to give support to
individuals and communities represented in these various diverse
categories.
TYIM’s programs, activities and exhibitions aim to serve these
goals. TYIM hopes to educate ourselves, our volunteers, artists,
